Join our Ubud Morning Market Tour and witness the town in its quietest, most magical hour, before the sun fully rises and before the crowds arrive.
You’ll begin your journey weaving through the traditional market alongside your guide, between stalls, filled with fresh produce, herbs, spices, and tropical fruits. This is a glimpse into daily Balinese life, where mornings are spent selecting ingredients, bargaining, and preparing for the day ahead.
Along the way, we will pick up a variety of jajan pagi, traditional morning snacks, both sweet and savoury like crispy pisang goreng, sticky rice treats wrapped in banana leaves. We will also pick up bubur (rice porridge) as our main dish to share and a cup of sweet bubur kacang ijo. You’ll also have the chance to try rare local honey from wild stingless bees, a flavour that few visitors ever experience.
What’s included on the tour:
- Food: a selection of traditional morning snacks and tastings
- Drinks: coffee or fresh juice or tea
- Guide: a knowledgeable local guide
To close the experience, we’ll sit together at one of our favourite local warungs, surrounded by a peaceful orchid garden, and enjoy a slow morning coffee or refreshing drink. This tour is less about rushing and more about observing, tasting, and connecting.
