I had an amazing experiencePosted on Admin TNG Very profissional Tour Operator . We recommend.Posted on Julius K Was a fun experience. I enjoyed learning more about traditional cuisine and customs.Posted on Aoife Reynolds The plant based food tour was without a doubt the highlight of our time in Ubud. Ayu brought us to same amazing food spots while also teaching us about the history and culture of Bali. We learnt so much and had great conversations over the few hours. Ayu is an incredible guide and person which such an amazing attitude towards life and is so proud of her culture and heritage. She has a real gift and taught us so much. The food and coffee we had in every restaurant was incredible and the people we met along the way were lovely. We did the tour on our last day and wished we had done it at the start of our time in Ubud as would have loved to go back to some of the places we stopped at. I would highly recommend this to anyone!Posted on Herman and Marlize Haasbroek This was such an amazing activity! Our lovely tour guide, Ayu, was very knowledgeable about the area, the food and Balinese culture in general. And the food was sooo good! We can highly recommend this tour. It is worth every dollar.Posted on Erin Boase Ayu is a fantastic tour guide and this tour was a highlight of our week in Bali. It was the perfect amount of food mixed with cultural information. She took us to hidden gems we could never have found on our own. So delicious and being all on foot is a bonus so we did not have traffic delays in Ubud.Posted on Shelley Rogers I booked in to do the sunrise food markets in Ubud and it was a fantastic experience! Ayu was our wonderful guide and she was very informative about the Balinese culture, how food is prepared and that everything has purpose. There is very little wastage. Ayu was very insightful about the lifestyle and different kinds of ceremonies and offerings. Ayu guided as through the markets and we got to taste a sweet mung bean soup (absolutely delicious!) and she handpicked ripe fruit and savoury foods that we could all enjoy together after the market walk through. Once we finished, we went to a local cafe which is within a family compound where we got to learn more about the generational family structures and how the compounds are setup and its purpose. We were a small group of powerful women that have bonded over shared life experiences. Making the whole experience even more memorable and enjoyable. Ayu and Robyn, thank you so much for sharing such rich Balinese culture with us. Highly recommend!Posted on Angelina Belcheva This culinary tour was one of the highlights of my time in Bali. I came curious about food and left with a much deeper understanding of the island itself. We tasted a wide variety of local dishes—authentic, flavorful, and thoughtfully chosen. From street food to traditional recipes, every stop felt intentional, not rushed, and deeply rooted in local life. It wasn’t just about eating; it was about learning why the food tastes the way it does. What truly made this experience exceptional, though, was our guide Ayu. She didn’t just talk about ingredients and cooking techniques. She explained Balinese culture, traditions, rituals, and daily life, showing how food, spirituality, community, and nature are all interconnected. Suddenly, a spice wasn’t just a spice—it was history, ceremony, and identity on a plate. Ayu has a rare gift: she shares knowledge with warmth, clarity, and genuine passion. You feel welcomed, respected, and enriched—not like a tourist, but like a guest being introduced to something sacred. If you want more than a typical food tour—if you want to understand Bali through its flavors, stories, and people—I wholeheartedly recommend this tour. Come hungry, leave inspired.
